NEET Cutoff 2025 Expected:NEET is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, which stands as an entrance door for thousands of students vying to become doctors. Annually, it is one of the toughest entrance examinations for programs like MBBS and BDS. Once the examination is done, the most common questions will be, MBBS in Russia?

“What is the cut-off this year?”

What is next after the expected cutoff for NEET 2025?

  • Qualified candidates will be called for counselling under the State Quota and All India Quota after the NTA declares results and the official cutoff scores.
  • Actual admission depends upon your All India Rank (AIR), the availability of seats in various colleges, and the choices that you have filled.
  • It is usually heavily preferable that you get higher marks since you can be denied admission to a government MBBS seat even by its mere cut-off.

How Are the NEET Cut Offs Being Calculated?

NEET cut-off scores are decided more on the candidate’s percentile scores than merely raw scores. Percentile scores are made to reflect an individual’s performance vis-à-vis other candidates. For instance, you are in the 50th percentile if you scored higher than 50% of the candidates. The NTA uses the following formula:

Rank/Total Candidates x 100 gives the percentile.

It means that even a variation on the decimal of a grade might cause a huge change in the obtained rank. Though the scores needed to obtain that particular percentile may vary from year to year depending upon the total performance of the students, so the cut-off percentile remains constant at, say, 50 for General.
