NEET UG examination:

For all medical aspirants NEET-UG examination is one of the most essential examinations in their careers. Every year, thousands of students who have completed their 12th or appeared for board examination apply for it. But not every student is lucky enough to get selected. However, students who are preparing very hard can easily get selected. Overview:

NEET UG examination date is May 5, 2024. Students who are preparing for it need to be sure about the date and admit card when it will be available. Undefined as of now, the registrations are closed, and NTA will soon issue the advance city intimation and admit card. There is a possibility that you are curious to know about the NEET 2024 admit card release date. Well, most probably, the admit card will be available in the last week of April, and by April 30, every student will be able to download it. After qualifying for their exams students will be able to get admission into MBBS or BDS in India and study MBBS from Russia.

Exam pattern:

The exam pattern is quite simple to understand because the NEET UG examination consists of 200 MCQs, out of which you need to attempt only 180 questions. This year, the time allotted for the examination is 3 hours and 20 minutes. If we discuss the sections in the examination, then it will be divided into four sections, including Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, and Botany. Each section will have 45 questions that need to be attempted. It is important for students to be sure that they are targeting almost 170 questions with 95% accuracy to get a good rank that is below 5000.

We cannot deny that the NEET UG examination is moderately challenging. Students must focus on solving the previous year’s NEET papers and sample papers and take part in mock tests as well so that they can understand the examination pattern properly and will be able to qualify for the exam. The minimum qualifying marks that are required for students include the general category from 132 to 145, and for another caste, it revolves around 95 to 110.

NEET UG examination is conducted to get admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSc nursing, and other courses in 706 Medical College, 323 dental colleges, and 582 Ayush colleges. Students who qualify for the exam will be able to get admission through counseling on the basis of marks that have been obtained.

NEET UG examination 2024 admit card:

The National Testing Agency will issue the admit card to all successfully registered applicants a week before the exam date. It is a mandate document to be carried out on the NEET UG examination date, and students must have a hard copy of the admit card because, without it, they will not be able to enter the examination hall. All the details will be mentioned on the hall ticket, including the roll number, application number, and other details for exam day instructions. After having the admit card, there will be no need for candidates to refer to any particular website in order to get ready for the exam day.

NEET 2024 exam day dress code and other instructions:

The dress code is fixed by the National Testing Agency to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examination. According to the guidelines that have been issued by the National Testing Agency, the dress code includes light clothes with half sleeves and slippers or sandals. The guideline is the same for both male and female candidates. There are certain restrictions that are necessary to keep in mind while getting ready for the examination:

  • Do not wear shoes or heels.
  • Do not wear full sleeves cloth.
  • Simple trousers are preferred over jeans and track pants.
  • No candidate is allowed to wear any jewellery on any smartwatch or any other device.
  • All the candidates needs to report to the examination centre by 12:30

Do’s on the exam day:

  • Be sure to carry a print out of the admit card along with a original valid ID proof.
  • Be sure to reach the examination centre by 1:30 p.m. because after that entry will not.
  • Do carry a passport size photograph to face on the attendance sheet.
  • Follow all the instructions that the invigilators and other staff member provide to you and be sure to operate with them.
  • Do not carry any electronic items or any gadget, calculator, jewellery or stationery or anything.

Don’ts on the examination day:

  • Do not try to cheat the examination.
  • Do not misbehave with any authority.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the examination centre.
  • Do not carry any sort of eatables in the examination hall.
  • Do not carry anything unnecessary that can violate any rules

For each subject there will be two sections and section A with 35 questions Section B with 15 questions. There will be an internal choice offered to students so that they just need to answer 180 questions from 200. Apart from it the total marks and pattern is as follows in the table

Note:

It is necessary for all the students that they are carrying the original ID proof and not violate any rules when going for the NEET UG examination. Students will be able to download the admit card from the official website only after the admit card is available. There is a possibility that you may face some issues during downloading the admit card, but don’t worry because sometimes the traffic is so high on the website that it starts lagging to some point. Along with it, be sure to have the credentials available so that there will be no problem at the time of downloading the admit card.
