Medical Council India Issues a Revised Time Schedule 2018

There have been delays in Undergraduate (MBBS & BDS) courses counseling for the session 2018-2019 due to compliance with various court directions. Therefore Medical Council India has issued a revised schedule for the completion of the MBBS admission process for the year 2018-2019.

With this notice published on the official website of Medical Council India, all state counseling authorities/institutions/universities/colleges are requested to follow the timetable for the schedule of admissions.

MCI will conduct counseling for the following:

50% All India quota seats for all state except Jammu and Kashmir as per merit list
All PG/UG seats of deemed universities as per merit list
50% institutional quota seats of Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University and central universities of Delhi University.
The institutes of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be participating in counseling from the academic year 2018-2019.

The counseling will take place for approx 60000 seats, and students will get the notification for admissions as per All India Merit List.
